Global Scientific Inc. (GSI) is an independent consultancy engaged in the field of environmental sciences and environmental engineering. We believe that sustainable development can only be achieved when academics, research and professional expertise go hand in hand. Thus, Masters in Technology or Sciences has always remained as a basic criteria when we have selected people to work for and with us. Through the past 18 years, we have been able to expand our services and solutions from our headquarters in Nagpur, Maharashtra to far ends of our country. Today, we proudly state that we have successful project completions in almost every state of our country and would very shortly be expanding our services to the Middle East. As a part of incentives in our company depends on the research work carried out during a year, we have always been successful to provide a wide range of services and solutions which not only enable our client to satisfy the regulatory standards, but also make the developmental activity or process sustainable. Our sincerity and commitment to our client's satisfaction is reflected in our exponential growth over the past 18 years. Our associations with multinational giants in water and waste water treatment and with reputed national players in municipal solid waste management reflect the quality of services and solutions that we provide. Till date, we have hardly had any marketing budget as our services and relentless efforts to meet our client’s demand have served as our USP and have helped us execute projects PAN India.
Message from The Director
Over the past two decades, there has been a gradual and consistent change in the demand for environmental engineering and consultancy services. In the private sector, the cost factor associated to projects related to environmental compliance has shifted from 'additional CAPEX' to 'comprehensive CAPEX', which itself states the market demand for standardized and benchmarked services and solutions. At the same time, the public sector now considers to determine and document the 'state of environment', measure and analyse the opportunities to improve upon and then plans its execution. With the persistent rise in number of industries each year and the exponentially increasing residential establishments in the urban regions, the current sewage and effluent treatment facilities would soon lose their potential to cater to the treatment demands. Developing new treatment facilities (without efficienctly operating and maintaing the existing ones) would impact the public and private financial reserves which currently are not in the best of their health. Moreover, development of new treatment facilities while the existing facilities do not function to the best of their efficiencies would add to the ecological footprint of the area or city. Hence, it becomes essential for the decision makers of both, private and public sectors to ensure that instead of the capital and operational expenditure, they focus on the Cost Benefit Analysis while determining the technology for control and prevention of pollution and ensure that the technology that they choose is comparitvely easy to operate and maintain. This approach shall certainly yield them significant gains in the longer run. Thus, at Global Scientific Inc., we invest time and efforts to customize solutions for our clients and help them plan their finances accordingly.
Our Commitment to Academics and Research
At Global Scientific Inc. we consider academics and research as an integral part of our professional environmental engineering and consultancy services. While working PAN India during the past 18 years, we have realized that the only way to keep our head high in the continuous competition is to keep innovating and upgrading the services and technological solutions that we provide. Hence, the minimum criteria that we have set for reviewing the job applications is that the candidate must be a post graduate and should at least have 2 published research papers. It is compulsory for our full time employees to spend at least one hour in the office researching about a new technological solution or ways and methods by which we can improve our consultancy services. It is also mandatory for them to submit us a monthly report on their report on the time and efforts they have invested in research. The benefits of these practices are directly yielded by our clients. As majority of the time is spent in order to understand the nature of the problem, studying the permutations and combinations possible for proposing a solution and analysing all the needs/demands of all the stakeholders to the proposed project (including the pollution control boards, who are regulatory stakeholders to all the projects), the services and solutions that we propose are both efficient and cost effective.
Our Commitment to Climate Change
At Global Scientific Inc., we believe that knowledge and awareness are the only two tools with which we can unite the world to mitigate and adapt to climate change. Hence, we are running the following campaign. We would be uploading the processed satellite images of different cities in India on our website everyday. The images would contain information about the spatio-temporal vegetation cover and climatic changes in the city over the last decade. Currently, this information could only be processed by a few who have a good understanding about remote sensing and geographic information systems. Making such information available in the public domain, maintaining blog posts regarding the subject and promoting the information about the dynamic environment on which the people are dependent on will surely increase the awareness about making our environmental infrastructure better in order to sustain our development. Our employees have several publications in the subject of climate change and ways of minimizing carbon emissions through innovative measures, in some of the best international journals. The pace and platforms at which our chauvinistic efforts are spreading the knowledge about climate change clearly reflect our academic and professional expertise in environmental sciences and engineering.
